Harrison Spinks have announced that Simon Spinks has been awarded an OBE in the King’s new year’s honours.

Simon has been honoured for his services to the mattress and bed industry with the citation referencing his championing of sustainable glue, foam and fr chemical treatment free mattresses, innovations in spring technology including the invention of the Microcoil and leading the way in responsible and sustainable mattress fillings including our home- grown hemp and flax. All this has helped change the mattress industry for the better with less reliance on foams and glues right across the world.
