Harrison Spinks had the honour and privilege of welcoming HRH The Princess Royal to Harrison Spinks last week for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of how their luxury beds go from farm to factory. The visit ended with a presentation at their innovation centre to formally accept our King’s Award for Enterprise in Sustainable Development.

Starting at their farm 18 miles down the road, HRH The Princess Royal met with their Chairman Simon Spinks to see where their beds start their life and learn about their sustainable farming practices including growing our their natural fillings.

Later in the day, they welcomed Her Royal Highness to their factory in Leeds where she met some of their skilled artisans, and experienced a live demonstration of some of the traditional techniques they use to create their luxury mattresses including hand side-stitching, tufting and tape edging.
